Facing the increasingly serious global challenges of plasticizer migration in food and microplastic pollution, Aprofood offers high-sensitivity, full-chain coverage plasticizer and microplastic detection services. With just one visit, we can provide you with accurate and timely test results, helping you avoid the risk of product recalls.
Plasticizers are additives used in polymer materials, with a wide variety of types. The most common variety is DEHP (di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate), a colorless, odorless liquid typically added to plastics to enhance flexibility. Microplastics are tiny plastic particles smaller than 5 millimeters, formed through the breakdown of larger plastic items. These emerging pollutants can enter food and feed through means such as food packaging, production processes, and environmental pollution. Currently, regulatory agencies in the United States and internationally are actively addressing the issue of plastic pollution and are gradually formulating comprehensive regulations to protect public health.

The laboratory of Aprofood is equipped with stereoscopic/optical microscopes, scanning electron microscopes (SEM), fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), raman spectroscopy and near-infrared spectroscopy (NIR). We can accurately identify and quantify the high-risk plasticizers and microplastic particles in the samples and provide detailed reports to help customers effectively avoid food safety risks.
Our technology is capable of simultaneously analyzing multiple key plasticizers and common types of microplastics, covering the following:
Plasticizers
Microplastics
Aprofood's testing services cover a wide range of sample types, including but not limited to the following:
Aprofood, relying on advanced laboratory equipment, can conduct ultra-trace analysis of food contaminants. If you have any questions or need more testing projects, please contact us immediately to discuss your testing requirements. We will arrange professional engineers to answer your questions and provide you with one-on-one service.
