Introduction	Magnesium citrate anhydrous, also known as trimagnesium citrate anhydrous, is produced by reacting citric acid with magnesium carbonate. This white, odorless powder is soluble in acidic solutions and water (up to 180g/L), but insoluble in alcohol. It is highly hygroscopic and tends to absorb moisture when exposed to air.
